A happy accident helped us find Lost In, tucked away down a little alley.
We experienced amazing food and hospitality at Lost In (whilst sheltering from hurricane Leslie so I’m unable to comment on any outside areas).
The swordfish main course and pumpkin fondant dessert were of particular note. Stunning, make you saviour it for as long as possible, buttery, mellow flavours. The prawn curry aired on the side of a Thai curry and was generous with its amount of tiger prawns.
The service was relaxed (by relaxed, I mean not quick but that’s the way of restaurants in Lisbon) and Bruno, who looked after us, was great fun and knowledgeable about the local area, writing down a list of must see palaces (including the Pena Palace 15 miles out of Lisbon in Sintra. This fairy tale castle is said to have inspired, either directly or indirectly, Walt Disney’s famous castle).
The restaurant is cosy and cool with a good panoramic view of Lisbon.
You’d be unlikely to stumble across Lost In if you weren’t looking for it due to it’s location, but worth seeking it out.
Price wise €142 for 6 mains, 5 desserts, 2 bottles of wine and 4 beers
